Having lost my mum and another family member to motor neurones, I wanted to raise some money towards research into this terrible disease. Please give generously for what I've put put my dodgy 53 year old legs through over the past year getting them into some sort of shape to cover thirteen and a bit miles!

Sept 4th 2016 Stockport County Supporters Co-op will be hosting the 2nd Hatters Half Marathon - starting at Edgeley Park and covering a course along the Mersey Valley. This will be my first half marathon. A daunting prospect, as apart from the past year, I've not even run for a bus for over thirty years.
