Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
You know the old saying: "A dog is for life, not just for Christmas"? Well, now is as good a time as any to remind ourselves.
I haven't done many fundraising events in a while, and with Movember and Coffee Mornings taking place left, right, and centre, I thought now was a good time to start.
For those of you who know me well, a 'vegetarian diet' is my idea of a personal hell - I've failed on numerous occasions to make peace with most veg, I can't go a day without chicken, and I cannot be parted from my beloved Haribo.
I have decided to raise money for Dog's Trust in memory of many dearly-loved dogs I have grown up with, in honour of all loyal dog owners, and to support the great work done by Dog's Trust (as well as many other animal charities, but I could only pick one).
Growing up in a predominantly dog-loving family, I have always found a friend in my childhood canine compadres. Even though some of you may be more of a cat-lover, or even a gerbil-lover, most of us can agree that all pets need a loving home, not just for Christmas, but all year long.
This Winter, do a good deed and support me in my meat-free month (yikes!) to raise money for pups and pets alike.
Here's to all of our furry friends: past, present, and future.
