2016 was the charity's 175th anniversary year, and a fantastic number of marvellous individuals and groups have pledged to raise funds for the charity to help mark the event.  I've been leading the charity since 2009 and I'm really proud of the support we provide to pharmacists and their families, pre-registration trainees and students each year.

Every year we see more demand for our services and we are reliant upon donations from the profession to fund our work, and as such I was keen to show my support and appreciation of the charity and join the 175 heroes across the UK who are doing lots of challenges and events this year by undertaking one of my own on the charity's 176th birthday.  So I am flinging myself (or potentially being pushed or maybe event prised ....) out of a plane whilst doing lots (and lots) of screaming (as I'm not a huge fan of heights!).  Is this utter madness? Absolutley! So why the heck not?  Please spare whatever you can to help me achieve my fundraising target and I promise that wherever you are in the country, on the day that I dive, you will likely hear my scream :-)  I can't say fairer than that I don't think.  Oh and I may have failed to mention, I will of course, be dressed as a superhero as its obligatory really (or at least thats what the team at PS have told me).  Thanks so much for your support it really does mean a lot to me, the charity and the profession too.

I've been blown away by the support received so far so I've upped the target to £1250 and if I hit it I'm jumping dressed as wonderwoman (which frankly I do most days under my civvies!).
