Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. This is raising money for the 'Liver Transplant Unit' at Addenbrookes University Hospital Cambridge.

At Diane's thanks giving service we had the opportunity for people to donate to Addenbrookes Transplant Games Team and to the Liver transplant unit at Addenbrookes hospital. We collected over £5000 which was amazing.

I have been asked if it is to late to donate and the answer is no! Your generosity has been astounding so far and every penny or pound helps and will be used to support the care given in the hospital to those who need it.

Diane received her 'Gift of Life' liver transplant in 1997 at Addenbrookes Hospital and was truly blessed by the organ donor family and the medical professionals that enabled her to have so many more happy healthy years, to know her nieces and nephews, to be happily married and to live life to the full. It was also at Addenbrookes hospital where her journey here on earth ended in Feb 2014. The staff were amazing and did everything they could both medically and supportively. We couldn't have wished for a better place to be cared for. It is our wish that others are able to receive the 'Gift of Life' through the amazing work of the transplant team so we would encourage you to do the following:

1. Donate whatever you are able to - to help this work continue
2. Sign up to the national organ donor registor
3. Tell you friends and family your wishes as they will be asked by the medical team what you want them to do.
