Anyone can get Parkinson’s. It gets worse over time and there’s no cure. Yet. Funding research into the most promising treatments, we’re getting closer to a cure. Until then, we're improving life for people with Parkinson’s, and the people in their lives. Together we'll find a cure.

Story

In 2004 at the age of 63 my mum met Dave and fell in love.. She and Dave spent several years holidaying & having fun, Dave even learned to ski! They got married in 2011, but not long after Dave noticed he was having trouble walking. Soon after he was diagnosed with Parkinson's.

Dave is now wheelchair bound and mum cares for him with all the love and kindness he deserves. Dave retains his good humour, despite being toppled out of his chair by his stepchildren on occasion (sorry Dave). Life's not easy for them but they make the most of every day and are grateful for the help they get from the NHS and various experts with whom they consult.

I'd like to raise money for Parkinson's UK to improve the quality of life for those affected and to find a cure. Thank you x
