Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
According to Cancer Research UK, more than one in three people will develop cancer at some point in their lives. So it will affect anyone; directly or indirectly.
My mother got years ago an abdominal cancer tumour removed. My father got two skin cancer tumours removed. They had been lucky, because the tumours were completely removed. Other people, like my uncle who died two years ago because of cancer, are not that lucky.
Every time (which is not very often) when I have a haircut, the hairdresser tells me that I have really nice hair and that I could probably sell it. So in the last two years, I've let it grow really long.
Now is the time that it has to be cut. I will try to sell it and donate the money to The Institute of Cancer Research. I should get probably around £50, maybe even up to £100 for it.
It would be really nice of you, if you could support my haircut with a donation to The Institute of Cancer Research. If I reach the fund raising target of £100 within a week or so, the hair will be cut down to just a few centimetres. If I do not reach it, only the pony tail will be cut off. So if you want to see me with really short hair, please donate.
With better cancer treatment, my uncle might have survived and more people will survive cancer in the future.
