We provide free accommodation for families to ensure they can be with their ill child

Story

Doig + Smiths relationship with Ronald McDonald House began when we provided the PM, QS & CDM services for the new house construction in 2014/2015.

Since our involvement we have formed strong links with the house and chosen it as our company charity because of the amazing services they provide for many families and children facing challenging health problems.

Located at the Southern General Hospital, the house consists of 30nr en-suite rooms, kitchen facilities, an indoor children's play area and counselling services / quiet places for families while their child receives cardiac, transplant or cancer treatment. Additionally, there are 24/7 staff available at the house to respond to families needs, with all of them trained in bereavement support / counselling.

The Glasgow Ronald McDonald House needs £400,000 a year to run their support facilities and this is only generated through private donations / fundraising as it is not supported by McDonalds (which is a misconception) or any public sector monies / government funding.

Please help us help the house meet their annual fundraising targets.

THANK YOU
