Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

About a week ago our dear friend Dave Armitage died suddenly at the age of 54 from a heart attack. Dave was to all outward appearances one of the fittest people we know, both playing and coaching at our local Clubs Sutton & Epsom RFC and Old Suttonians RFC.

The fact that Dave leaves such a huge gap in all our lives is testament to how much this man was loved. He was a gentleman in every sense of the word both on and off the pitch; passing on his love of rugby to the next generation of players with a generosity of spirit that was truly inspiring.

Just as inspiring was his dancing and we will always have fond memories of Dave as the life and soul of any party!

Dave was a devoted family man and leaves behind his wife Steph, daughter Harriet and son Ewan. It is their wish that instead of buying flowers at Dave’s Funeral we all remember him by donating to the British Heart Foundation. We all hope that in doing so the work of the foundation can continue to help prevent such tragic losses.

Many Thanks.
