DonateMySport - Public Event

You are invited to celebrate with us the importance of organ donation during the UK Organ Donation Awareness Week between the 4th and 10th September 2017.  

We are looking to achieve something special by asking as many people as possible to donate their weekly sporting activity whatever that may be, it could be your local park run, cycle ride, visit to the gym or even your swim - any form of exercise can be donated!

During this initiative help us drive awareness of organ donation by:  

1. Sharing a picture of you donating your sport with the #DonateMySport on social media through our Facebook group or Twitter #DonateMySport

2. Make a donation on our Justgiving page which will help us raise well deserved funds to support Transplant Sport UK.  Please remember to confirm that you are a tax payer so that we can claim gift aid.  

For donations of £15 or more via this Justgiving page, we will in return send you a limited-edition commemorative medal acknowledging your achievement and support of the DonateMySport initiative during the UK Organ Donation Awareness week

DonateMySport - Salesforce Employee UK Event

The DonateMySport Salesforce UK employee only event is a 5K Run which is being held  on Wednesday 6th September at Salesforce Tower, London.  By registering your entry fee here for the run you will be helping us to raise well deserved funds to support Transplant Sport UK.  Please remember to confirm that you are a tax payer so that we can claim gift aid.

The DonateMySport is a Volunteering initiative brought to you by Salesforce.com with its key aim to educate the public on the principles of organ donation and to highlight the worldwide shortage of donor organs. All around the world, there are thousands of people alive today, unified by a common bond. Some owe their lives to living donors, who are family members or friends, others to the generosity of perfect strangers, organ and tissue donors driven by the desire to give life to others after their death. The need for an urgent or life-saving transplant knows no boundaries – it affects people regardless of their gender, age, religion or ethnicity.

The Salesforce.com 1:1:1 integrated philanthropy model encourages its employees to make a difference in the communities where they live and work. The DonateMySport is one of these Initiatives and has been organised by salesforce employees who are passionate about raising the awareness of Organ Donation as well as how sport helps the recovery process of people that have had lifesaving organ transplantation.
