Back in September last year i started running again just for fun and physical fitness. Its a great way for me to escape the hustle and bustle at home with running a home, looking after 2 children, husband, dog and 4 cats plus working part time.

Early this year i wanted a challange as i felt i could put my enjoyment of running to good cause for raising money plus a goal for my own personal achievement.

When i saw that the NSPCC still had places available for the London Marathon i thought well i will never get in but have always wanted to be apart of this fantastic day so thought what the hell i will apply, what do i have to loose?!

Well i couldnt believe my luck when they called me the following monday offering me a place for the London Marathon......

And so now my hard training begins and even with a dodgy left leg i will complete this marathon in what ever time i can and will smile all the way round knowing that everyone has been so generous to sponsor me for this well worthy cause.

A massive thank you and i hope you will look out for me on the telly :-)
