I have decided to walk and run 62 miles (100km) in October to raise vital funds for Greenacres Rescue; a charity that my employers Cleddau Insurance have chosen to partner with over the next twelve months. The money we raise will help in the running of this facility.
Greenacres Rescue is a small, non-profit, animal rescue centre. Founded in June 2008, they are the only all animal rescue centre in Pembrokeshire. They look after all sorts of domestic animals, more commonly dogs and cats but also pigs, cows, turkeys, Alpaca’s, pretty much any animal in need of care. Greenacres will do all they can to provide for and care for them.
Even though many animals are successfully rehomed, sadly for some animals for a variety of reasons this is not always an option. Therefore, certain animals will live the rest of their lives at the centre. Meaning contributions particularly during these uncertain times are even more crucial in the running of the centre.
