Thanks for visiting this Race for Life page.
Tragically most of us know someone who has been dealt the devastating blow of being diagnosed with cancer. Each time a diagnosis is made, it affects more than the individual concerned; whether given to a grandparent, parent or child, a diagnosis touches the lives of entire families.
So, if there was something you could do that would mean that those families had greater odds of a happy ending, you would do it wouldn't you? Well - you can!! Over the last 30 years, the odds of survival for those faced with a cancer diagnosis had improved dramatically - thanks to research which has been, and continues to be, funded through Cancer Research UK. And that is why a group of unfit mums have joined together to raise money for Cancer Research UK. We do it to remember those we have known and loved, but more so to celebrate the courage of those we know - mums like us - who are fighting their own battles with verve, vigour and a smile on their face.
Please dig deep and either sponsor us online or donate by text (by texting STHA50 followed by the amount you would like to donate to 70070). It's quick, easy and totally secure.
