I am raising funds for two very special causes. To do so I have had to set up two separate pages. This one is dedicated to Macmillan Cancer Support. My other page for Thomas's Love can be found under the link

During a recent visit to the Hospital I was faced with the mention of the dreaded "C" word and I had a small taste of the panic that is felt by many people every day.

My worries lasted for only 4 weeks and in the end that's all they were, just worries. No Cancer found.

Over the last few years Cancer has affected my family, friends and colleagues. Some have made it through and some, sadly, lost their battle to this awful disease.

This fund raising event is my way of raising funds for two causes very close to my heart.

Any who know me will realise what a big decision it is to Brave this Shave. My hair has been long for many years now and been subject to many a colour change.

It is because of this that I thought I could raise money for these causes.....many people think I'm mad and I've even been offered money to NOT do it haha. I hope this will encourage donations, no matter how small, to both my causes, as I work towards the day when I lose my locks ☺☺
