To commemorate 75th Anniversary of D-Day and to honour men who Spearheaded entire invasion. 

4th June 2019 I will be part of 186 Runners starting off at Tarrant Rushton Airfield Dorset to New Forest and then down to Portsmouth covering 62 miles in under 24 hours.

5th June ferry across to Normandy and run via Caen canel to Pegasus Bridge arriving at iconic spot 75 years since 2nd Battlion, Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire Light Infantry began their now legendary assault to seize two bridges and secure vital road inland for troops landing on the beaches.

6th June Run another 10 miles to another bridge Horsa Bridge where Veterans Charity will unveil plaque dedicated to men of 22 platoon.
