Story

On the 6th of September 2016, my grandfather Bertie Douglas passed away. He was a fantastically skilled tradesman, and a kind and generous person. We wanted to do something to honour his memory, and it seemed fitting that we, father and son, Berties's son and grandson, enter the NICHS Step Up Cycle in the North Coast. NICHS was his chosen charity for donations at his funeral, so it's time for a bit of fundraising.

With little to no...well, not really any training at all, 70 km will be a challenge, but we intend to see it through. Let's hope commuting six miles is comparable to 43! Follow our journey as we build up to the event...in a couple of days. This Saturday actually. Brian, my dad, is a keen cyclist and I cycle to work on a regular basis.

We really would appreciate any donation towards this cause - NICHS is a great charity and focusing on a problem that affects countless people.
