We have heard many stories from friends and family over the years about how St Luke's have helped to support them when they discovered that a loved-one had a life limiting illness.  We didn't know back then that St Luke's would end up providing the most incredible support for our own family.  Grandad had PSP (a rare degenerative condition that required around the clock care).  Grandma cared for Grandad at home for 7 years.  This took its toll, but St Luke's were on hand to provide respite carers to allow Grandma some time to herself and therapeutic activities for both of them.  We could not have managed without them.
