At times of overseas emergency, the DEC brings together a unique alliance of the UK's aid, corporate, public and broadcasting sectors to rally the nation's compassion, and ensure that funds raised go to DEC agencies best placed to deliver effective and timely relief to people most in need.

Story

This year we will be running a 12-hour sponsored swim in aid of the Disasters and Emergency Committee, which works with its local partners in Ukraine and neighbouring countries to provide food, water, shelter and medical assistance to support to the millions of families fleeing the conflict in Ukraine.

Our aim is for every child in the school to be involved and to swim as many lengths or widths as they can!

The  children will swim in their form groups during the day. From 4.00pm - 9.00pm swimming will be open to any child whose parent has given them permission to swim, and of course we are hoping that staff and parents will join in!

Please give generously to support our swimmers and raise money for Ukrainian families.
