EPC Volunteer's Team Challenge, 25 May 2020
We raise funds for the Exmoor pony to promote and protect a rare breed

Story

We are 15 Exmoor Pony Centre volunteers who will start a two week team challenge on Monday 25th May 2020, to raise £1,000 towards the Moorland Mousie Trust’s Covid 19 Appeal.

We will undertake our challenge in five teams, all named after our favourite ponies from the charity.  We will set off on a virtual tour of the perimeter of the Exmoor National Park, a total of 104.469 miles.

On Monday 25th May there will be a virtual start from Dulverton, and we will head clockwise around Exmoor, arriving (virtually) back in Dulverton on Sunday 7th June, having raised sponsorship and donations for the foals and ponies in the care of the Exmoor Pony Centre.

We will record and report our daily walking, running, cycling and riding mileage for a daily update on teams’ progress. And to inject some fun, and ensure that sponsors get good value for their donations, a ‘Challenge Master’ will be issuing ad hoc tasks and diversions to the teams as we make our way across the moor.
