Baby Maddox Coote · 1 September 2016

The Sick Children’s Trust is the charity that gives families with a seriously ill child in hospital a comfortable place to stay and a friendly ear to listen in one of our ten ‘Homes from Home’. By providing families with somewhere to stay near their child they have one less thing to worry about.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Baby Maddox was born at 26 weeks and 5 days on the 16th June 2016 weighing 630 grams. He received around the clock care by a dedicated team of Drs and Nurses. On Monday 1st August, baby Maddox was transferred back to his local hospital in Ipswich, where he will stay until he' s healthy enough to come home.

Without the dedication and expertise of the staff at Rosies hospital, Maddox may not have been here today.

The Sick Children's Trust believes keeping families together significantly improves the recovery of seriously ill children. They provide free high quality home from home accommodation as well as emotional and practical support.

There is still a long way to go for Maddox but we will remain very positive.
