Every two hours someone in the UK is paralysed by a spinal cord injury. It can happen to anyone at any time and no one is prepared for how it will change their life. Aspire is a national charity that provides practical help, supporting spinal cord injured people from injury to independence.

Story

Welcome to the EY Just Giving page for the Wheelchair Challenge 2016.

As a firm we are committed to building an organisation that is diverse in all aspects and inclusive of all differences to enable our people to be valued and bring their whole selves to work.

To help on our journey towards a disability confident culture, on 15 September 16 we are taking part in this challenge.  We are offering 8 of our non disabled people the chance to spend 8 hours in a wheelchair to gain an insight into the day to day challenges faced with managing a disability in the workplace and raise awareness through positive conversations on the day and beyond.

The Team: Caroline Artis, Hywel Ball, Lynn Rattigan, Joanna Santinon, Maggie Stilwell, Steve Wilkinson, Iain Wilkie, Rukasana Bhaijee
