Campaign by Combat Stress (RCN 206002)
Walk 10 miles on any day during the month of March to raise funds for life-changing mental health treatment for veterans

Story

Gail and Eamonn have been raising funds for Combat Stress for almost 4 years, asking for donations to Combat Stress rather than wedding presents on their Wedding Day.

Combat Stress is the UK's leading charity for Veterans' mental health. For a century they have been helping former servicemen and women deal with issues like post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), anxiety and depression. Today they provide specialist treatment and support for veterans from every service and conflict to give them hope and a future.

For some former servicemen and women, the mental impact of the battlefield can be hard to leave behind. Were here for those ordinary people who have had extraordinary experiences, providing mental health treatment that not only transforms lives but saves them too.

Many of you would have heard that the government have removed funding from Combat Stress and anything you can do to help will be appreciated no matter how small the donation.

Gail and Eamonn will be completing in the March in March, Eamonn has entered the Great Birmingham Run on the 31st May 2020 and will be fundraising at the Swinford Toll bridge on 25th May 2020.
