THE DAY IS ALMOST UPON US!! TOMORROW IN FACT!!! OH MY GAAAAWD!!!
On Saturday May 1st, two of my work colleagues, and several others will be cycling from Windermere to Newcastle, a ride of 100 miles in order to raise money for the NorthWest Air Ambulance service.
I am envisaging blisters and a very sore bottom!
The North West Air Ambulance (NWAA) is the only regional medical air emergency service covering Greater Manchester, Cheshire, Merseyside, Lancashire and Cumbria. Costing £3.8 million a year to maintain, the NWAA covers all major road traffic incidents, serious sports accidents and incidents in areas with poor and restricted road access. Flying seven days a week, 365 days a year their vital life saving service covers 5,500 square miles and a residential population of seven million people yet they receive no central government or lottery funding.
It costs £3.8 million per year to maintain both aircraft, all of which is generously donated by members of the public.

So please, if you can, no matter how much or how little sponsor me to get blisters and a very sore backside!!
