Hello everybody!

This summer I will be travelling to the West Bank in Palestine for 6 weeks. During my stay i will be teaching English at a summer school for young people. In the Middle East English is a real asset, and can be the difference between poverty and opportunity.

To raise money for the charity Cambridge Nazareth Trust, which coordinates the trip, I will be running the Newry City Half Marathon on 29 May. I had planned to run the Lisburn half Marathon but as I'll now be in France at the time it would be some task! So now i've to squeeze all the training into a month! Anyone who has seen me run will know that it should be a good laugh watching me drag my backside around another place that isn't even a proper city!!

All money raised will go straight to schools in Palestine which are not given any assistance by the state.
