Amy's Hawkslade Easter Egg Hunt

Hawkslade Easter Egg Hunt · 16 April 2022
Last year I organised an Emmett's Genies Easter Egg Hunt on Hawkslade, I had no idea how it would go and how successful it would be. I never expected so many participants (90 children in total), willing treat stop locations and so many external generous donations. I got lots of wonderful feedback and requests for a repeat this year. So here we are 🙂
Participation in the event is £5 per child (or adult if desired- anyone who wants the treats) but with even more treats and prizes than last year. To kick start the weekend the hunt will be on Good Friday at a time that suits you. You'll receive the clue first thing but can head out on the hunt at any time that day.
Because there is no time restraint and no set start time, it means that the event is easily COVID friendly as everyone is spread out.
To be involved all you need to do is pay £5 per child involved to this page by Friday 8th April to guarantee places (although this page will close early if we reach our participation limit). Once you have donated on here, PM me on Facebook or email me at ascullard@aol.com. Then the morning of the hunt I will send you over the clues and map. That clue and map will lead to treats. ENJOY!
If this page is closed to donations you will need to email me to see if we have capacity to have any additional participants.
Emmett's Genies is a brand new charity based on Hawkslade. Emmett's Genies was inspired by my son Emmett and we have a hugely ambitious goal to provide a once-in-a-lifetime experience for critically ill children and their families.
Emmett's Genies have a long-term goal to have a fairytale "wish village" that provides critically ill children and their families with a once-in-a-lifetime experience; a purpose built village where imagination comes to life in accommodation that is far away from the hospital settings these children have become so used to. In the interim we are creating an app that children can access during treatment, to use their imaginations to help design the eventual village. A wish village created by critically ill children for critically ill children
