After a tragic accident at home on 13th July 2014, Eathan was transferred to Southampton Hospital's PICU unit from Basingstoke General. On a ventilator and fighting for his life.

Sadly his efforts ceased during the early hours of 15th and he was pronounced brain dead at 2.45pm on 16th July.

His little body lay helplessly in a huge bed, being cared for constantly by the fantastic nursing staff at all times. His family were always by his side and all family members were invariably given permanent access to little "E" any time, day or night.

Staff kept Mum and Dad informed constantly and also answered questions from other family members and gave us all support throughout.

Even after the pronouncement of his death, little "E" was cared for just as he was before. Every test for change, was willed for a change to be seen by staff and family. They shared our pain, sorrow and eventually our grief, openly.

Eathan's parents were with him to the bitter end and beyond, as were his larger family and friends, even just to somehow support each other.

Eathan's last act of goodness was to donate some organs, so as to aid other families children to possibly get better.

His shell that was the body he used whilst on our earth, was no longer any use to him and so maybe others could gain some hope for their futures.

Help Eathan to help others too, we wish for no-one to experience our loss, but we just never know what is going to happen at any minute.

Please give generously for this fantastic cause and help Eathan meet another goal in his short time on our world.

Thankyou, from the bottom of our hearts.

UPDATE : Eathan's kidneys were given to a family man, with children and grand-children. His family are very much dependant on him and after one already failed transplant, he was doing well and expected to be home with his family last weekend (3rd August 14) - Eathan's Mum, Dad, siblings and the rest of the family, wish this person a very long and healthy happy life. (Well done "E", your our little "Star") xxxx)
