Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my and Katie Sanders JustGiving page.

Inspired by the legend Kevin Sinfield running 7 marathons in 7 days to raise money and awareness for Motor Neurone Disease for his best mate Rob Burrow who is sadly suffering with this horrible disease.

Myself and my cousin Katie Sanders are taking on the 7 in 7 challenge and are attempting to run 7k a day for 7 days. I know it’s not quite in the same league as what Kevin Sinfield did but with my glass ankles and dodgy knees I am hoping it’s a realistic target that we will achieve.

Having lost Katie’s dad and my uncle Andrew Sanders (Sands) to this terrible disease 10 years ago aged just 44 this charity is very close to both ours and our families hearts.

By doing this challenge we hope to raise awareness of Motor Neurone Disease and any money raised will be going to the MND association to help to eventually find a cure to this currently incurable disease.

We are aiming to start our challenge on 7th February subject to what lockdown laws we may be under.

Please if you can spare anything for this cause we would be so grateful.
