Great North Run 2016 · 11 September 2016 ·

The Lullaby Trust exists to keep babies safe and to keep grieving families supported. We fund life-saving research, empower families with expert baby safety advice and support grieving families through their darkest days. We won’t give up until no baby dies suddenly or unexpectedly.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

On 5th January 2015 our beautiful baby boy George died of SIDs, he was just 8 weeks old.  This obviously devastated our family, but we've got through the last 18 months by pulling together and trying to do small things to keep George's memory alive.

On Saturday 9th September, 10 year old Eddie will be competing in the Junior North Run in memory of his baby brother George and on Sunday 10th September Lee will be competing in the Great North Run in George's memory.

Our aim is to raise the profile of SIDs, to get people talking to keep George's memory alive, and to fundraise to support other families and research into why SIDs is such a terrible unexplained baby killer today.
