Story
In May, I’ll take part in the Edinburgh Half Marathon in memory of my dad who very sadly passed away last year from pancreatic cancer. My dad had always been a healthy and active man so his terminal diagnosis came as a huge shock to us all, especially because he had no symptoms before he was given the news. My dad was a true gentleman and an inspiration to his friends and family. He fought his illness with courage and dignity. The money I raise will to go towards researching pancreatic cancer in the hope that, one day, other people have a chance to beat it. A chance my dad wasn’t given. As I run the Half marathon, every step of the way I’ll be thinking of my dad, my hero!!!
