I have set up the trust fund 'Erin Jones Friend Of Ty Hafan' in memory of my beautiful daughter Erin who tragically passed away on April 4th 09 at just 17 years old!

Erin was so bubbly, loving and caring and besides her family she loved little children and they all in turn loved her. If anyone was meant to spend her life working with children then Erin, my beautiful little girl was definitly destined to. Which is why I chose Ty Hafan as a charity to support in my little girl's memory.

Ty Hafan is the only children's hospice in Wales and the support they give disabled children and their families is priceless. Many of these children are not expected to live beyond their teenage years and moreso they also provide bereavement counselling for those who may require or want  this.

Ty Hafan go into the heart of the families and is such a worthwhile charity, so please give generously so that many more youngsters can be helped to live a better life.

Rhys Tom Williams from llandysul, a friend of Erin's from when they were very young has already raised £222 for Erin's fund by running the Cardiff Half Marathon and is going to raisemore  money by running the London Marathon. Well done to Rhys Tom we are very grateful and proud of him !!

 A hairdressing salon in Aberyswyth, where Erin's friend Michelle works are going to hold a fundraising day later on this year ,proceeds to go to our fund. I will update you all on here when I know a little more about this and the date is set etc.

We, her family are organising a sponsored walk as near as we can to July 1st which is Erin's birthday and she would have been 20 years old.I will be setting a date with Phil Thomas on the 10th of this month and I will again update everyone on here.

I'm sure that Erin is looking down with her big beaming smile and feeling so proud that her name will always be connected with such a worthy charity.
