Story

Monday 17 Dec 2012 - Weigh-in 83.1kg/13st 1lb Total weigh loss todate:  32.63lbs.

My how time flies .......... Just over 12 months since I started my sponsored slim for this Charity - Cancer Research UK. (For my Dad who unfortunately passed away in January of this year).
I am both disappointed that I did not lose the full weight I set out to achieve but also proud that I have stuck with it.  For those who sponsored me by the sponsorship form please let me have what you think I deserve for a 1/2 effort. Starting Weigh-in 15st 6lb / 97.9kg - Now: 13st 1lb / 83.1kg (lost 32.63lbs in total). I will continue until I reach my target but based on last 12 months, will be this time next year until I get there.   Although I did not achieve my target, I have not stopped just because the 12 months is up, I will keep going. However for those of you who kindly sponsored me. Please see my "After Photo" -12months on and thank you for your support and encouragement throughout the year.  Hopefully I'll get there in the end.

Wed 17 Oct 2012 - Weigh-in 83.3kg/13st 2lb
Nearing the end of my 12 month sponsored slim.  Not done as well as I had hoped but still losing weight slowly but surely.  I realise I am not going to reach my target weight in the time frame I set up any donations you can give the weigh already lost I would be grateful for.  Alternatively keep watching and hopefully I will eventually reach the agreed target just not in the agreed time.  All in a good cause as since starting this slim for cancer research I have lost my Dad to Cancer and know a number of people who have fallen ill with this dreadful illness during this period.

Week 43. Mon 20 Aug 2012 - Weigh-in 84.8kg/13st 5lb
At last I have achieved the 2 stone mark. I was begining to think it was a stumbling block I could not get over. Nearly there, then back a bit, nearly there and back a bit. Now I have gone over 28.8806lb lost to-date. Long way off target but at least it should be sustainable.
Week 39. Mon 23 July 2012 - Weigh-in 85.8kg/13st 7lb
Moving along slowly, a bit like the tortoise rather than the hare. Just under 2lb to achieve 2stone. I feel a lot fitter and now able to fit back into clothes that I had "grown out of" !.
Week 32. Wed 06 June 2012 - Weigh-in 87.8/13st 12lb
Hit another milestone ....... 1.5 stone lost todate and now under 14st. Since my last logged weigh-in, I have been away and during that time had put on 1lb ;-( Yipee .... I have this week had my biggest weight loss since starting, just over 4lb in one week. Even got on the scales again just to be sure, so really pleased and hopefully it will give me the boost I need to push myself more.
Not sure what really made the difference except that I have been walking a lot and hit the gym/treadmill a few times.
Week 29. Mon 14 May 2012 - Weigh-in 89.4kg/14st 1lb
