In June 2025, I have challenged myself to take on the South Coast Mighty Hike to help raise money for people living with cancer. I'd be so grateful if you could help me reach my £250 pledge, which can pay for Macmillan Nurse for one day. This could provide people living with cancer and their families essential medical, practical and emotional support.There are currently 3 million people living with cancer in the UK today. Rescheduled to September 27th 2025! That was yesterday! We set off from home at 5:50am! Start 8am …. Passing the 8.5 mile mark … an old injury kicked in and I had to pull out - gutted. Unfortunate but lucky - I could have done more damage .. so hopefully my sponsors honour their sponsorship for the MacMillan Nurses. The rest of the team successfully completed the half marathon! DNF - Definitely Not Fit …
