We are a local charity serving residents in and around south Islington, London. From our community centre, as well as in the community, we provide and host a wide range of services that improve the quality of life for local people making south Islington a better place to live, work, learn and play.

Story

Two members of Colloide Engineering Systems in Cookstown N.Ireland, Elaine Hargan and Joanne Irwin are currently completing a 100 mile run challenge in the month of September in order to raise money for St Luke’s Community Centre in Central Street, London.

Colloide Engineering is the contractor appointed by Islington Council to complete the Bunhill Heat and Power Phase 2 Project. Work is currently under way on the project.

With under 30 miles each to go in the 100 mile run challenge the legs are certainly feeling it now.  Once this challenge is completed and after a brief period of rest, training will start for the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park 10K in London which takes place on Saturday 3rd December.

All money raised will be donated to St Luke’s Community Centre which is a vital facility for the residents in and around the south London area.

Any donatation small or large will be greatly appreciated.
