In April 2000 I lost my Gran to MND after a short 6 month battle with this terrible disease. My grand called me her life and her love but she was also mine. She was my biggest cheerleader, and a strong women who over came so many obstacles. A huge hole was left in my heart the day she died. 

On 14th may 2023 I will be running in her honor, it will be 23 years since I lost that loving soul and 7 years to the day that I lost my grandad her husband and partner in crime.
