Alzheimer Scotland is the leading, national dementia charity in Scotland. Our mission is to make sure nobody faces dementia alone. We provide advice, information and support and we are here for people living with dementia, their families and carers across Scotland.

Story

I must be mad, but I have decided that on the 11th of September 2016, I am going to join lots of other cyclists and cycle from Glasgow to Edinburgh as part of Pedal for Scotland, in aid of "Alzheimers Scotland".

It would be great if you could manage to sponsor me and help me raise money for this great charity.

My family has been affected by Alzheimers through numerous generations, and the work of Alzheimers Scotland is invaluable to both the sufferers themselves and the people who care for them and love them.  I want to raise money for this charity because I feel it's just as important to provide support and services to sufferers and their carers as it is to research for a cure and Alzheimers Scotland does just this, providing the very much needed smile and hug when things are dark.

Donating through JustGiving is dead easy and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails (as long as you remember to tick or untick the right boxes). Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now if you can. You can even donate by text message, just text

EJAD74 then the amount to 70070
