Story

After I had my third child I 'wasn't very well'.  Post Natal Depression, Panic and Anxiety ruled my life.  I didn't go out, I was constantly on my own, and I could never have my baby out of my sight.  To try and get through it I attempted running (at first with a buggy) and also had regular therapy sessions until recently.

Fast forward 2 years and my attempt to run has turned in to an attempt to complete an Ironman 70.3.  1.9km open water swim, 56 miles on a bike and then 13.1miles of running.  Exercise and support has helped me to get through the bad times and know how to tackle them when they come again.  Now it's time to give something back.

I no longer care who knows that I 'wasn't very well' or that I can still have bad days.  I want people to know that there are ways to overcome it - and exercise and support is my highest recommendation.  Being able to talk through a certain situation can help de-fog it and put it in perspective.  Then going for a run is the perfect follow up!
