Charity Bike Marathon (in aid of CALM) · 16 October 2016

We’re Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM), and we’re a suicide prevention charity. We host a helpline for people affected by suicide, as well as vital online resources for anyone who needs them.

Story

On the 16th October 2016 Elland Round Table members and friends will attempt to cycle the distance of Lands End to John O'Groats on our local cycle track to raise funds for CALM - a male mental health charity www.thecalmzone.net

Male mental health is an issue that is never talked about, and rarely raised in conversation between males full stop. CALM aims to offer the support men need to face up to any mental issues they have and not feel a failure to discuss it.  As our designated charity for 2016/17 we would love to raise as much money as possible with your support.

Round Table Great Britain and Ireland is an organisation for males between 18-45, who get together to raise money for their local communities whilst having social nights out and participating in activities that are a break from the norm.  If you are interested in finding out more about what we do, please see our Facebook page www.facebook.com/Elland.RoundTable
