Running the 10km in memory of my beautiful friend Sharon who sadly lost her battle with ovarian cancer 4 years ago.  Having myself survived this horrible disease Sharon always seen me as her inspiration and often used to say to me 'you survived it Ellen, I can to'.  Sadly, it wasn't to be.  Running to raise awareness of ovarian cancer, which is still known as the silent killer because it's often misdiagnosed and by the time it's diagnosed it's often too late for patients.  Raising money for Jane Tomlinson appeal as Jane was my inspiration when I had cancer.  She was a trooper who battled till the end and I will always hold her in very high esteem. Her legacy in her foundation does a lot for a lot of people affected by cancer.  Please donate if you can and please come and cheer me on.  #rememberingsharon
