Thank you for taking the time to visit this page.
Running has long been my method to managing my mental health and whilst it’s something I’ve spoken very little about in the past (my mental health, not running, I speak about that all the time), I wanted to use this event as a means to raise awareness for a charity which I hold very close. That charity is Mind.
As a direct knock on from the Covid - 19 pandemic mental health charities are working round the clock to manage the huge increase in people who now more than ever depend on them. Because of this, at 00:00am Saturday 8th August I’ll be attempting to run a Double Bob Graham Round which consists of 132 miles, 84 Lake District Summits and 16 000 metres of vertical climb inside 48hours.
I know for many the current pandemic has also added a financial burden, however if you have even a couple of pounds which you could spare, I can say with absolute confidence that Mind will put the money to good use.
Thank you very much.
