The RAF Benevolent Fund is the RAF's leading welfare charity. We have been there for all members of the RAF Family for over 100 years. Last year we assisted more than 70,000 members of the RAF Family. Support us in 2024 and help us reach even more members of the RAF Family.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

On 21st Jul, myself and Jack will be running the British 10k in London for the RAFBF.  We've never ran it before, and we haven't ran 10k for a long while so its going to be a challenge for both of us, mainly because Jack is going to have to go at my slow pace or I'll be sprinting trying to keep up with him!

We decided on running for the RAFBF as they provide a range of support aimed at serving and former RAF personnel and their dependants. This includes welfare breaks, grants to help with financial difficulty and getting about inside and outside the home, specialist advice on benefits and support with care needs.

They support both young and older veterans and immediate family members with everything from injury or illness, to financial hardship, disability, emotional wellbeing, transitioning back to civilian life and living independently. They can consider any request for assistance and we provide a tailor-made approach to each individual situation.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So, even if it is just a pound, please help us smash our target for the RAFBF!
