On the 31st of March 2017 I'm shaving my head to a number 1. My hair is roughly 12" long at its longest point and on the day we will be plaiting it and letting people cut off a plait but I have to raise at least £100 before any of my hair gets cut. This will be done at 3pm at the Great Yarmouth British Heart Foundation furniture store.

I've been wanting to do this for roughly 4 years but unfortunately due to jobs and self confidence issues i wasn't able to. Now I've gotten over most of my confidence issues and am finally ready to do what i planned to do back in 2013.

My  reasons for doing this are simple. 1 in 5 people will be affected by heart conditions whether directly or indirectly and although I personally don't suffer people close to me do.

I've also been asked why hair that apparently hair has nothing to do with the heart but whilst researching the illness of my nearest and dearest i found out that hair loose can actually be one of the first symptoms of heart disease. I want to raise awareness of this as most people wouldn't think of it.
