Story
In May we will be running in the Edinburgh Marathon Festival in memory of our wonderful son, grandson, cousin, nephew and friend Ewan Paul-Collins. Tragically Ewan took his life last September. It has been, and continues to be, an enormous struggle to come to terms with this, and we would really like to make a positive contribution to two charities in Ewan’s name. We would very much appreciate any donations you may be able to make to our efforts.
The first charity is the dyspraxia foundation. Dyspraxia is a very unrecognised but serious disability, which had a profound effect on Ewan’s day to day living and his early education. The dyspraxia foundation works to promote awareness of this condition, and provides vital support to people affected and their families.
Due to the circumstances surrounding Ewan’s death, we’d also like to raise funds for PAPYRUS. Despite being the biggest killer of young people in the UK, suicide is still surrounded by stigma. The outstanding work by PAPYRUS aims to reduce this stigma and support young people in difficult times.
