Taking part in this event is something I have always wanted to do. Not only for my own achievements but also to raise awareness and help raise money for a charity that is so important in this day and age.

I think it’s fare to say we all know or know of somebody who has died or suffered with cancer at some point in their life. Cancer research is an amazing charity that has come so far in the last 16 years and with more help and fundraising from society can continue to find more resources to hopefully one day cure it completely.

I will be taking part in a 8 week training course and On the 16th March be taking to the ring to fight for 3 rounds. This is something I have never done before so I am very nervous but also excited.
