Jurassic Coast Challenge · 22 May 2021 to 23 May 2021 ·

At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.

Story

Alzheimer’s Society is transforming the landscape of dementia forever.Until the day we find a cure, we will create a society where those affected by dementia are supported and accepted, able to live in their community without fear or prejudice.

I have decided to take on the full Jurassic Coast Challenge walking 100km over 2 days to raise money for this fantastic cause.

The challenge will take place on 15th and 16th May starting at Poole Harbour and finishing in Bridport. The first stretch is 58km & a1600m climb and the second stretch is 42km & a 600m climb.

This is a first for me, I've never done a long distance walk before and I am really excited to take on the challenge!

Any contribution you are able to make is greatly appreciated.

I have also attached my Strava account to this page so that you can track my progress :) I will be walking and cycling as part of my training.

Thank you

Emily
