Story

Hi guys, Emily here 😋 I am hoping to run 120kms  between the 20th of November and 20th of December in aid of Dublin Zoo.

Personally, Dublin zoo means a huge amount to me. I began volunteering in Dublin zoo in final year in UCD, I got my first job there after graduating working in the education department and have most recently worked as part of the animal care team. I left the zoo in September to come to Manchester to study in a masters programme in Zoo conservation biology.

Dublin zoo is a charity involved in education and conservation that relies on visitors for support. Unfortunately since the zoo has closed due to the lockdowns they’re  struggling. I understand that is a situation faced by a lot of people at this time.

If you can’t donate there are many other ways to help out on www.dublinzoo.ie, Thank you
