Story
On the 3rd October 2021 I will attempt to run 26.2 miles around London to raise money for the Alzheimer’s Society in memory of my lovely Nan.
Those who know me well know I’m definitely not a runner, and having never ran more than a slow 10k, this is going to be a big challenge for me.
I know if my Nan was still here she would be laughing and telling me I’m crazy, but I hope I can make her proud.
Every three minutes, somebody in the UK is told they have dementia. But dementia won’t win. Alzheimer’s Society is doing everything they can to find a cure, but they need our help.
Alzheimer’s Society is transforming the landscape of dementia forever. Until the day they find a cure, they will create a society where those affected by dementia are supported and accepted, able to live in their community without fear or prejudice.
All charities have been hit hard over the past year so it is important now more than ever that we continue to support them.
Any donations will be greatly appreciated and will help me reach my goal.
