After deciding to take up a challenge in 2019, and being cheered on by my Greggs office friends, I decided to sign up for the Great North Run 2019!  I have never ran a half Marathon before, and ran my first 10k in May 2019! Still a long way to go…

As a huge fan of the North East, and the amazing charity work which takes place in our home region, I decided I wanted to run for something which will make a difference right here!

After researching the work of a number of fantastic charities in the North East, the stories which moved me the most were from the North of England’s Children Cancer Research (NECCR).

I am really excited to help them achieve their fund raising goals for 2019 and make a difference for such an amazing cause. Money raised will be kept within the North East, helping our children beat cancer sooner!! Please help in any way you can 😊

Thanks so much in advance! Hopefully I get across that finish line!
