Myself and Vicky Gray both work on Willow Ward at Charlton Lane Hospital in Cheltenham which is the only Dementia Assessment Ward in the county. We look after patients with behavoiural disturbances associated with their Dementia. We both wish to help the Alzheimer's Society with their fundraising and to help promote such a worthwhile cause. 

We have signed up to do 'The Great North Swim' in Lake Windemere on the 23rd June 2012 which is a 1 mile swim in the open water. This will be a fantasitc challenge to do as although we can both swim, neither of us have done anything like this, especially not in a lake!!! We started training in December and will be continuing right up until the day!!!!!
