We provide wigs to children with cancer to restore their confidence and identity.

Story

Hi and welcome to my fundraising page for The Little Princess Trust. For the majority of my life I have had long hair and recently haven't had it cut since 2019 so when I entered 2022 I decided this year I would cut my hair short and donate it to a wonderful charity and cause.

When a child loses their hair to cancer or another condition, The Little Princess Trust is there with a free, real hair wig to help restore their confidence and identity. They also fund research in the hope to end childhood cancer forever. In memory of five year old Hannah Tarplee who lost her battle with a Wilms Tumour, The Little Princes Trust was set up in 2006 and has since donated over 10,000 wigs. Their vision is to provide Hair and Hope to every child and young person with cancer until there is no longer a need for what they do.

My fundraising target of £550 is specific because that is how much it costs to provide a real hair wig to a young person. Any donation big or small with go straight to this worthwhile cause! Also keep eyes peeled on a few fundraisers I will be holding thoughout February 2022, prior to my hair cut on the 17th.

Lots of Love
