We campaign, support and fund research to stop people dying of bowel cancer

Story

We are running in memory of Brian Curtis / Beast / Emma’s Dad, who died from bowel cancer.  The race is on 12th September 2021, the day after what should have been Brian’s 78th Birthday and also his 56th wedding anniversary. 😢

We will be running in fancy dress; Emma will be a poo emoji 💩, Katie will be running as toilet roll!  🚽🧻

This is a horrible disease that we don’t talk about enough. Unless you’re under ten years old, we seem to be afraid to mention poo; we hope we can play a tiny part in changing that!

Please donate to this vital charity if you can (more details below).

If you’re nearby,  please come and cheer us on on the day... and look out for us training in our costumes before then.

Most importantly... don’t be afraid to talk to your doctors about anything bowel related. Look after your bums!! 🍑Xxx

We’re the UK’s leading bowel cancer charity. We fund targeted research, provide expert information and support to patients and their families, educate the public and professionals about the disease and campaign for early diagnosis and access to best treatment and care. We’re here to stop people dying of bowel cancer.
