Purple Plunge · 10 July 2011

Young Epilepsy is dedicated to standing up for children and young people with epilepsy. We’re here for them. But we need your support because epilepsy is limiting the chances of thousands of children today and may continue to do so for the rest of their lives. Together we create possible.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am about to do the Purple Plunge - an 80ft abseil down the Galleria shopping centre! I am doing it for the National Centre for Young People with Epilepsy who have been a great source of information and support to us since Elodie first got her epilepsy diagnosis.

3 people die every single day from epilepsy and, of these, one is a child. NCYPE are working hard to change this statistic. As well as offering the Childhood Epilepsy Information Service to the 60,000 young people and their families living with epilepsy in the UK, they also have diagnosis, assessment and rehabilitation services at the award winning Neville Childhood Epilepsy Centre.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.
